Samsung will pay Microsoft for every sold Android

Samsung, as well as HTC, signed an agreement with Microsoft under which commits each sold for a smart phone running on Android to pay a percentage. Microsoft has requested such an agreement a few months. Besides this agreement, Samsung and Microsoft also agreed to work together to improve and advertise Windows Phone.
The reason for signing the agreement, Samsung is to get permission to use Microsoft patents that are part of the operating system Android. Samsung obviously do not think Google's move to buy ja Motorila Mobility and their patents will help prevent further lawsuits connected with the operating system of Goole. Microsoft already suing Motorola Mobility for infringement of 9 patents, and certain that Samsung would have suffered the same fate if they stick with Google who, certainly more attention paid to the Motorola Mobility, a company that 12.5 billion.

Microsoft in the past few months has signed several such agreements with hardware companies that use the operating system Android, which fall between Acer and ViewSonic, and several smaller companies. Microsoft from this agreement with HTC has five times the earnings rather than Windows Phone. HTC had to sign this agreement once sued Microsoft for infringement of intellectual property. So for every phone sold Android HTC must pay $ 15 to Microsoft.
